Gosheni Safaris was founded by Peter with a vision of creating authentic, locally operated safari experiences in Tanzania.
Over the years, the company has grown from a small operation into one of Tanzania's leading safari operators, with a dedicated team in Arusha and a fleet of more than 50 safari vehicles.
Erika Atienza joined the Gosheni Safaris team after first visiting Tanzania in 2017. Since then, Peter and Erika have worked together to grow the company and better serve travelers from around the world.
Today, Peter leads operations from Tanzania while Erika focuses on supporting travelers from the European market from Denmark, where she lives with her husband and three kids. Together with the wider Gosheni team, they help travelers plan safaris that are personalized, practical, and built around real local expertise.
