Depart Arusha after breakfast and drive into Tarangire National Park. Drive up into the Ngorongoro highlands before descending into the crater for an afternoon game drive. The Ngorongoro Crater is one of the best places in Africa to see the Big Five in a single day, with around 25,000 animals living within its walls year-round.

Enter the Serengeti with game drives beginning almost immediately as the landscape flattens into open plains. Wildlife sightings are common along the route — giraffes, antelope, and predators are frequently seen before even reaching camp.
