6-Day Family Safari Tanzania

Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport and meet your Gosheni guide for the transfer to Arusha. The first evening is a chance to settle in, rest after the journey, and get ready for the days ahead. Your guide will brief the family on what to expect and answer any questions before the safari begins.

After breakfast, drive into Tarangire National Park — one of the best parks in Tanzania for families. A full day in the Serengeti with morning and afternoon drives across the plains. The private vehicle means you stop when you want and spend as long as you like at any sighting. A morning drive in the Serengeti before driving east toward the Ngorongoro highlands. The landscape changes dramatically as the road climbs through forest and onto the crater rim. Settle in at camp before a short afternoon walk or time at the lodge to enjoy the views across the crater.

Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a full morning game drive — the highlight of many family safaris. The crater floor is home to lions, hippos, flamingos, and around 20 black rhino, making it the best single location in Tanzania to see these rare animals.
